Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam
On March 2, 2009 Shipco Transport Vietnam Ltd. was official opened. Shipco Transport Ho Chi Minh is the first neutral NVOCC operating in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
ICT Miami, USA
On March 12, 2009 the Group's first fully owned Cargo Terminal was official opened in Miami, Florida as a separate entity under the name International Cargo Terminals Inc. (ICT). ICT offers state of the art cargo terminal facilities to both own Scan Group entities as well as 3rd party customers.
Koper, Slovenia
Shipco's first office at the Adriatic Sea, Shipco Transport Koper, commenced operation in the spring of 2009.
Shenzhen, China
Shipco Transport (Shenzhen) Ltd. commences operation on April 15, 2009. The Shenzhen market has grown rapidly during the last decade and despite the strong presence in Hong Kong it was decided to enter the Shenzhen market to further expandthe Shipco's commitment to the region.
Houston Airfreight, USA
Although doing airfreight since 2002, in May 2009, Shipco Airfreight expanded by opening its own office within the airport in Houston. The office was located on the second floor of the cargo receiving terminal. Being neighbor to the main airlines and literally "on top" of the cargo terminal provides an invaluable advantage when handling air freight.
Bangkok Resource Center
Beginning as a small project to test the outsourcing of FCL Documentation and quickly growing into a large and efficient resource for all Shipco offices, Bangkok Resource Center was officially established in July 2009.

In order to better service its New York customer base, Shipco Airfreight (JFK) opened an office at J.F. Kennedy Airport. The opening of this location further strengthened the company's airfreight presence in the United States.

To continue the expansion on the North American continent and as a natural development of the overall market strategy, Shipco Transport Toronto was established on January 1, 1998 to offer the full range of neutral NVOCC services to the Canadian market.
Antwerp, Belgium
With volumes growing to and from the European continent, the need for a European gateway became evident. On January 15, 1998, Shipco Transport NV was established in Antwerp providing a comprehensive gateway concept for export, servicing Shipco Transport offices in the Nordic countries, the United Kingdom, Netherlands and exclusive agents in other European countries.
Jakarta, Indonesia
Originally established as a representative office, but later changed to a fully operational entity in close cooperation with long-term business associate Gesuri Lloyd, Indonesia, Shipco Transport Jakarta, was established on September 1, 1998.
Bangkok, Thailand
Despite turbulent economic conditions in the South Asia region also affecting Thailand, Shipco Transport (Bangkok, Thailand) Ltd. was established on September 7, 1998 initially in cooperation with long-term business associate Appenship Siam Sept Group.
Singapore
Shipco's activities in Asia rapidly grew and the need for a fast decision making process made it necessary to establish Shipco Transport's Asia Regional Office in Singapore on October 26, 1998.

Rotterdam, The Netherlands
On June 1, 1997, Shipco Transport BV was established. Rotterdam, The Netherlands marked the beginning of Shipco Transport's export services from North Europe to destinations worldwide.
Hoboken, USA
As a natural development and in cooperation with the parent company, Scan-Shipping A/S, Copenhagen and its Project Division, Shipco Transport Hoboken, New Jersey established a Project/Out of Gauge Department on June 1, 1997. This new Department provided services to the existing customer base ranging from a 20' open top container with over height to complete turnkey projects.

Hong Kong, China
Shipco Transport (HK) Ltd. was established on July 15, 1996, approximately one year prior to the "hand-over" of Hong Kong. The Group experienced a rapid growth in traffic both to and from this important Asian gateway. Where other companies were leaving Hong Kong during this period, Scan Group decided to invest in this very important region.

Coverage in Malaysia expanded with the establishment of Shipco Transport Sdn. Bhd. Penang on December 1, 1996.

Miami has always been recognized as the USA gateway to Latin America. With Shipco Transport's expansion offering services into the Central and South American markets, presence with an own office in Miami became a necessity. On April 1, 1995, Shipco Miami opened for business.
Port Klang, Malaysia
Shipco Transport Sdn. Bhd., Port Klang, was established on April 7, 1995 to further service the growing customer base in Malaysia and to establish a presence in the main deep sea port in Port Klang.
Atlanta, USA
Shipco Atlanta was established on October 2, 1995 to further enhance the coverage of southern United States and to participate in one of the fastest growing markets in the USA.

1988
New York,USA
Shipco Transport Inc. was established as a subsidiary of Scan-Group A/S, Copenhagen. The first Shipco Transport office opened its doors in September 1988 in New York City and was originally started to receive FCL Cargo out of Asia. Through changing market conditions and growing uncertainty, Shipco quickly found a stable place within the market as a LCL Consolidator, the main focus of the company to this day.
